Daily news bulletins will not be issued between now and 3 January 2006. Events with an African interest will however continue to be monitored and anything of strong interest will be published as stand-alone stories during this period.

The respective Ship Movement reports from the various ports of southern Africa will continue although the information from some ports may become sporadic during the next two weeks.

We thank out readers for their support and interest and wish everyone a joyful and peaceful Christmas as well as a prosperous New Year.
